P1-0060 — Annual report 2010
1.
Development of new experimental methods

A modular system for fluorescence microspectroscopy (FMS) has been developed. An important property of this system is a broad-band excitation light source, which enables use of various fluoroscent probes. Subsequently, the system is very flexible and allows application of synthesized fluorescent probes with the aimed mode of molecular response. FMS was started to be upgraded with optical tweezer for mechanical manipulation of samples on microscopic scale. This will open new possibilities in the field cell-material interaction research
