ESFC symposia are organized every three years and are besides international symposia on fluorine chemistry (ISFC) the most important meetings of fluorine society. The symposium was interesting for researchers from universities, institutes and industry. There were 333 participants at the symposium. Following members of the research group participated at the organization of the event: T. Skapin (chairman), M. Tramšek (co-chair), B. Žemva (honorary chairman and chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board) and A. Koblar, R. Moravec, T. Oblak, G. Tavčar (members of the organizing committee).

COBISS.SI-ID: 24590375In the area of the process safety management (industrial risks) and reliability management of the process/equipment we provided consultation services to the industry and related competent state authorities. With different clients (companies, agencies) we were involved in updated to their Safety Management Systems and related Safety Reports needed for the licensing procedures. With Ministry for environment and spatial planning of Slovenia we were involved in updates of the expert opinions related to the process safety aspects for the planned LNG terminals in the Gulf of Trieste.
