Observation of B[sub]s[sup]0 [to] J/[psi] f[sub]0(980) and evidence for B[sub]s[sup]0 [to] J/[psi] f[sub]0(1370)

We report the observation of B[sub]s[sup]0 [to] J/[psi] f[sub]0(980) and evidence for B[sub]s[sup]0 [to] J/[psi] f[sub]0(1370), which are CP eigenstate decay modes. These results are obtained from 121.4 fb[sup]-1 of data collected at the Y(5S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB electron pozitron collider. We measure the branching fractions of these decays with the significance of 8.4 and 4.3 standard deviations, respectively.

The effect of the geomagnetic field on cosmic ray energy estimates and large scale anisotropy searches on data from the Pierre Auger Observatory

In this work, we have identified and quantified a systematic uncertainty affecting the energy determination of cosmic rays detected by the surface detector array of the Pierre Auger Observatory. This uncertainty, induced by the influence of the geomagnetic field on the shower development, has a strength which depends on both the zenith and the azimuthal angles. Consequently, we have shown that it induces distortions of the estimated cosmic ray event rate at a given energy at the percent level in both the azimuthal and the declination distributions, the latter of which mimics an almost dipolar pattern.

Feynman rules for the rational part of the electroweak 1-loop amplitudes in the R [sub] [xi] gauge and in the unitary gauge

We present the complete set of Feynman rules producing the rational terms of kind R_2 needed to perform any 1-loop calculation in the Electroweak Standard Model. Our formulae are given both in the R_xi gauge and in the Unitary gauge, therefore completing the results in the 't Hooft-Feynman gauge already presented in a previous publication.
