Polymorphisms and mutations in chromosomal segregation genes in Slovenian patients with gastric cancer

Studies have shown that genetic changes, lifestyle, age and genetic background of individuals are implicated in its development and progression. Therefore, we want to identify polymorphisms in selected genes in Slovenian patients with gastric cancer and to compare this group of patients with healthy control group. The results could be helpful for the improvement of therapies and for prognosis.
