COBISS.SI-ID: 29246509Article presents development and background of flight simulator based on precise physical model capable of simulating spacecraft flight and autopilot as well as hardware in a regulation loop. Its application and advantages are demonstrated for several flight scenarios which are impossible to asses on the real flight platform since such a maneuver would destroy the platform. The simulation of the autopilot is presented also in case of malfunction of different spacecraft sensors in different flight stages. Numerous advantages of such testing and evaluation approach are clearly presented.
