Attendance of the international conference on Molecular Mechanisms of Fungal Cell Wall Biogenesis, presentation of the work with a poster - tutoring

Fungal genus Wallemia contains 3 halophilic or halotolerant species, which can grow at a wide range of salinities. We presented the work of the undergraduate student Janja Zajc and of the graduate student Marjetka Kralj Kunčič. They studied the physiological adaptations of Wallemia to saline environment that are partly similar to those of H. werneckii. I am a co-supervisor of the undergraduate student Janja Zajc and an academic coach of the graduate student Marjetka Kralj Kunčič.
