Adam Skalar's manuscript, 1643. Meditative literature in the context of the Catholic renovation

The paper presents comprehensive manuscript, written by the Slovenian priest Adam Skalar cca. 1643. At the conference, the paper presented the sources of Skalar's translations. As to his original text "Vselaj inu nikoli, tu je večnost" (Always and never, this is eternity) paper gives an outline of its composition and thematic characteristics.

Repository of the Slovenian-language manuscripts – far, yet near?

The paper presented the first results of the NRSS project – Unknown Slovenian literary manuscripts from the 17th and 18th centuries: informational-technological supported evidence, scholarly publications and analyses. The context and goals of the project were presented, in particular with regard to the lack of research in this field. Authors described the building blocks of the digital repository. They sketched the digital encoding of the repository in XML, which is compliant with the Text Encoding Initiative Guidelines (TEI), and the software platform for searching the repository.
