We have studied the processing of PZT based thick films by using electrophoretic deposition. The colloidal suspension were prepared in ethanol in addition of polyelectrolite and organic base. The electrophoretic deposition was done with contant current mode on gold coated alumina substrate. The functional properties of sintered PZT layer are comparable with those prepared with screen printing.
