Plenary lecture at a domestic conference

The project leader gave a plenary lecture at a yearly national conference Kemijski dnevi (Days of Chemistry) that gathers all researchers in the field of chemistry (and some related fields). He presented newest trends in development of materials for energy storage and conversion.

Incorporation of drugs into mesoporous silicates (conference report)

We reported on preparation of mesoporous silicates with very narrow pore size distribution. Into such carriers several model drugs were incorporated. The subsequent release was carefully monitored and commented.

Within the frame of project activities Denis Saboti prepared a diploma thesis in which he reported on the influence of polymorphism and interfacial contact on the efficiency of coating clarithromycine with SiO2. The co-mentor of this diploma was M. Gaberšček.
