The review publicatin in CR a general and extensive overview ober various graphical representions of proteins (the main building blocks of DNA) is given and discussed. The building blocks of DNA (or of parts if it) can be regarded as 'words' in general plain text. Such descriptions are used for manipulating the individual blacks and for numerical evaluation of 'distance' or 'similarity between larger parts or assembles of blocks (for example: distances between genes) and for the ordering and comparison betwen parts of the DNA.

In the monography having 370 pages several methods for handling and extracting multi-variate data are described and dscussed. For the present research project the most relevant are two chapters in the monograph: a) chapter on clustering of large multi-variate data sets and b) the chater on Artificial neural networks in general and on Kohonen networks in particular.

Marušič, Franc, Rok Žaucer. On Clitic doubling in Gorica Slovenian.

Clitics doubling is a very common phenomena in our west dialects. In principle the doubling is not really neccessary., however it presnts a specific form in lovenian language which shold be taken into the accont.
