1.
Elevated CO2 affects the content of glomalin related soil protein in xeric temperate loess and temperate semi-desert sand grasslands.

paper describes response of two different types of grasslands to elevated CO2 concentration on the level of soil organic matter change. Glomalin represents a significant fraction of SOM, and responds to CO2 enrichment.

2.
Comparing carbon fluxes between different stages of secondary succession of a karst grassland.

Paper that describes carbon cycling on calcareous submediterranean grasslands (extensively used or abandoned, encroached by woody plants. A paired eddy flux measurement design was used in order to assess differences in NEE and related parameters. It presents historical land use of the site, the current state of invasion of woody plants, it exposes specificities of implementation of micrometeorological methods in karstic ecosystems and annual changes of NEE.

3.
Change in carbon balance of a dry calcareous grassland caused by spontaneous afforestation.

Contribution that describes net ecosystem carbon exchange of karstic pasture and woody plants encroached site for the first year of measurements.

4.
Plant litter decomposition in two stages of succession of a dry calcareous grassland

Study on decomposition rates for diffierent litter material. Litter bags were exposed in upper layer or on the surface of the soil within the footprints of Eddy covariance towers at Podgorski kras.
