1.
Implamentation of the new trends in assisted reproduction

With precise estimation of the number of the follicle before punction and elective embryo transfer combined with more precise estimation of endometrial characteristics important improvement of ART can be obtained. Smaller number of embryos transfered in optimal endometrial enviroment do not interfered with the success of ART when in the same time the risk for multiple pregnancies is avoided.

2.
Influence of perifollicular vascularisation and oxigenation on cell development

Numerous studies show the beneficial effect of reduced oxygen on the culture of animal embryos in vitro. However, few similar studies have been carried out in humans, and the conclusions from these were contradictory. Using sibling human oocytes, a prospective study was carried out to analyse the effect of 5 and 20% oxygen on prolonged development of embryos.
