A comparison of the ADC and T2 mapping in an assessment of blood-clot lysability.

The article deals with a comparison between T2-weighted MR imaging and diffusion-weighted MR imaging (DWI) to assess the thrombolysis outcome. The conclusion of this study is that DWI is more sensitive method than T2-weighted imaging in assessment of thrombolysis as it can more precisely detect the degree of clot retraction and with it related expected clot dissolution.

Current density imaging sequences with separation of mobile-ion current from immobile-ion current

This paper presents a new method of magnetic resonance imaging, which allows imaging of ion mobility in the conductive liquid samples. As such, the method is also suitable for achieving good contrast between different areas of blood clots.
