1.
Role of magnetic resonance imaging in the analysis and prognosis of thrombolysis with thrombolytic agents

A project group member Jernej Vidmar, MD. successfully defended his doctoral thesis which was on a topic of this research project. In his new job (Institute of Physiology, Medical Faculty, University of Ljubljana), all experiences and the knowledge gained during his post graduate status and his work within this project will be of a great help in his clinical career and everyday practice.

2.
The use of magnetic resonance imaging in monitoring effects of enviroment on respiratory organs

This work presents the possibility of using magnetic resonance imaging for early detection and subsequent monitoring of treatment of respiratory diseases that are caused as a result of environmental influences (eg. asbestosis).

Analysis of clot degradation product sizes in relation to blood flow celocity

At the regional biophysics meeting in Linz 2009, analysis of the size of clot degradation products (obtained by optical microscopy) and their correlation to the blood flow velocity in the perfusion channel was presented.
