Early Orthodontic Treatment in Children with Unilateral Posterior Crossbite

We eavaluated early treatment of a group of children with and without unilateral posterior crossbite. Preventive and early treatment of unilateral posterior cross bite in the primary dentition period corrects the mandibular shift, leading to an improvement in facial asymmetry. Further, it creates conditions of normal growth and development.

Early Treatment of a Craniofacial Syndrome - a Three-Dimensional Soft Tissue Evaluation.

With the morphological characteristics of the face in Slovenian man and woman captured with the three-dimensional surface scanning system, we compared the Craniofacial Syndrome and evaluated treatment using a three - dimensional laser scanning system.

Contemporary Views on Diagnostics of Unilateral Posterior Cross Bite - A 3D Evaluation

Posture on the mouth floor was demonstrated by 81.5% of the children with unilateral posterior crossbite and by only 34.8% of those with normal deciduous dentition. Three-dimensional diagnsotics enables objective assessment of the face and the tongue is a contemporary, noninvasive diagnostics in orthodontics.
