Organization of the international conference The Future of the Internet: Perspectives Emerging from R&D in Europe

Organization of the EU Commission conference on Future Internet and the technical meeting of 62 consortiums from the approved projects in the first call of FP7 in the area of Future Internet. The conference took place in Bled on 31.3.2008 and the technical meeting was on 1. and 2. of April. There were cca 400 participants. The conference was broadcasted on a TV chanel and streamed over the Internet by use of the ISABEL tool (video can be seen on http://www.fi-bled.eu). Results of the conference were establishment of the Future Internet Assembly and adoption of the Bled declaration.
