Ceglar, Andrej, Črepinšek , Zalika, Zupanc, Vesna, Kajfež-Bogataj, Lučka. A comparative study of rainfall erosivity for eastern and western Slovenia

Overview of rainfall intensity index and rainfall erosivity, calculated with adapted USLE (universal soil loss equation) method, is given for three meteorological stations in Slovenia for period 1991-2006. Analyzed locations are situated on different climate areas with noticeable different rainfall regime at western (Bilje at Nova Gorica, Rateče) and eastern (Murska Sobota) part of Slovenia.

OŠTIR, Krištof, KOMAC, Marko. Comparison of PSInSAR and DInSAR methods for the purpose of surface deformation detection – A case of NE Slovenia.

Radar interferometry (InSAR) has become an important tool in producing accurate digital elevation models. Its upgrades used to observe small surface deformation or displacements, differential interferometry (DInSAR) and permanent scatterers interferometry (PSInSAR), are very useful for temporal surface deformation observations. They were used to observe co-seismic displacements related to Posočje earthquake, which happened on April 12, 1998. A comparison of both methods was performed. Although complementary each method has its advantages and disadvantages.
