Organization of meeting; presentation: Electroporation potentiates cytotoxic effect of the anticancer ruthenium compound KP1339 in vivo.

Group of professor D. Miklavčič has been organizing International Scientific Workshop and Postgraduate Course (Electroporation based technologies and treatments) for a long time. Last year this workshop was again organized in Ljubljana. Professor Miklavčič is also the editor of the corresponding conference book. Doctoral student Rosana Hudej has presented the results of her work on electroporation of ruthenium compounds during this meeting.

Electroporation of potential ruthenium anticancer drugs

Professor I. Turel had a lecture during the COST D39 project meeting (“Ruthenium anticancer compounds” ) in Debrecen. He presented our results on the syntheses and electroporation of ruthenium anticancer drugs.
