Mentorship - yound researchers and postgraduate students

So far T. Levanic was mentor to 5 doctor students and one master of science student. Three PhD students succesfully finished their study - dr. Dunja Bandelj Mavsar (ARRS code 20038), dr. Andreja Ferreira (ARRS code 15492) and dr. Gal Kušar (ARRS code 19721). Andreja Slapnik MsC. student also sucesfully finished her study. Young researcher Polona Hafner sucesfully finished her third year of doctoral study.Since 2009 young researcher Simon Poljanšek is working on a dendrochronology of the Balkan Penninsula.

Response of European larch (Larix decidua Mill.) to the climate in the upper timber line in view of climate change

On this conference we presented silvicultural and ecological demands, and main problem related to growth and developement of larch forest ecosystems at the upper timber line in SE Alps. Our conclusions were based on the knowledge collected within the reported project.
