A contribution is a result of international collaboration between IMT and Technical University Prague during visit of guest professor Dr. Peter Jurči. Deep cryogenic treatment of P/M cold work steel is presented in this contribution. The procedure brings many advantages. Cycle of heat-treatment is shortened, austenitization temperature can be decreased, as well as fracture toughness and wear resistance of steel are improved
