2.
Advanced BEM techniques for heat and fluid flow

The project leader has, in cooperation with prof. Škerget and prof. Hriberšek given a lecture at the University of Erlangen-Nuerenberg. Advanced BEM techniques for heat and fluid flow were discussed and talks about cooperation between universities were conducted. As a results of this talks, the project leader has applied for a DAAD scholarship, which was approved. The project leader spent the summer 2008 working on the postdoc project in Germany.

3.
Invitation into editorial board

Publishing the results of the postdoc project has resulted in editorial board membership of an Elsevier Journal: Engineering analysis with boundary elements

C.06 Editorial board membership

4.
Solution of 3D velocity-vorticity formulation of the Navier-Stokes equations by boundary element method

A novel algorithm for the simulation of laminar viscous flows by solving of 3Dvelocity vorticity formulation of Navier-Stokes equations was presented at this scientific conference. The versatility and accuracy of the proposed algorithm are proven by simulating 3D channel flow and 3D lid driven cavity flows up to Reynolds number 1000.
