Easy-Axis Kagome Antiferromagnet: Local-Probe Study of Nd3Ga5SiO14

We confirmed the existence of a magnetically non-ordered state in Nd3Ga5SiO14 down to at least 50 mK. This state is unusual in that the magnetic fluctuations are significantly dependent on magnetic field and temperature.

Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya anisotropy in the spin-1/2 kagome compound ZnCu3(OH)6Cl2

We confirmed the existence and determined the magnitude of a strong magnetic anisotropy in ZnCu3(OH)6Cl2. The anisotropy has a strong influence on the magnetic properties of the ground state.

Magnetic interactions in alfa-NaMnO2: quantum spin-2 system on a spatially anisotropic two-dimensional triangular lattice.

We determined magnetic anisotropy in the alpha-NaMnO2 compound, which is the key factor of the magneto-elastic phase transition observed in this compound.

Magnetic structure of the S=1 Ni5(TeO3)4Br2 layered system governed by magnetic anisotropy

We determined the dominant magnetic anisotropy in Ni5(TeO3)4Br2, which is responsible for the magnetic phase transition of this system.

Magnetic phase diagram of the two-dimensional antiferromagnet Ni5(TeO3)4Br2

We determined a rich phase diagram of the Ni5(TeO3)4Br2 compound, as a function of aplied magnetic field and temperature. Different ordered and non-ordered phases were observed.
