Presentation of ecoremediation in comparison with other technologies on an international conference

The solutions that comprise high technology can be efficient but demand a high energy input, they are operationally exacting and often do not meet the goals of sustainable development. In contrary the concept of ecoremediations refers to the use of sustainable systems and processes for environment restoration and protection. Ecoremediation methods have the potential to decrease, prevent and eliminate natural disasters, non-point and point pollution sources.

2.
Presentation of ecoremediation as an opportunity for development of local communities

Ecoremediations are presented as an opportunity for development of local communities. The basic advantage of ecoremediations is their multi-purpose use. The results on ERM technologies usage evaluation show a great potential of ERM in protected areas, in areas of drinking water sources and in areas where natural disasters are more often. Local communities with integral plan for environment and nature management are faster and more efficient in decreasing and preventing environment pollution and creating conditions for quality and healthy life.
