For the detection of Hop latent viroid in hop clasical methods for viroid detection are used (like dot blot hybridisation,R-PAGE and RT-PCR). We developed a RT real-time PCR method for HLVd detection which enables also viroid quantification. In autumn 2008 the work was presented at international conference 'Advances in qPCR' in Stockholm, Sweden.
