The Book of the Documents of the Auerspergs. 1. The Documents of the Archives of the Carniolian-Comital Line and the Princely Line of Auerspergs

The edition comprises 277 documents from private archives of the Carniolan comital and princely lines of the Auersperg family; once part of the Turjak (Auersperg) Castle archive, they were rendered inaccessible to the (especially Slovenian) public since 1942, and ultimately declared lost. The edition aims at a best possible reconstruction of the optimum state of the Turjak archive by taking into consideration all existing sources. In this manner it brings a more complete selection of documents cand photographic reproductions of all preserved seals.
