Project results were applied in practice. Based on diagnostic SNPs differentiating between marble trout, hybrids and brown trout, genotyping test using five genes was developed. Test was used for determination of pure marble trout individuals from hybrid zone (main Soča River stream) with the aim of breeding and repopulation.
