Chelant washing of toxic metals contaminated soil using electrochemical treatment of washing solution

We presented the use of electrochemical advanced oxidation processes for removalof heavy metals during remediation of contaminated soils. We also presented the set of in vitro and in vivo tests for assessment of biological stripping of metal availability after soil remediation.

Advanced oxidation processes (ozone/UV, boron doped diamond anode) were applied for removal of atrazine and nitrates from groundwater from Krsko polje in Slovenia.
