Development of a life-event model for e-government

The paper provides overview of methodologies for modeling life events in the public administration domain. It establishes a typology of methodologies that represent a framework for unified comparative analysis of different approaches to life-event modeling. Based on the results of the analysis, the paper introduces conceptual frame of the life-event ontology in public administration that is used for further development of the ontology.

Integrating e-services in public administration

Integration of e-services is a process of making several atomic e-services to behave as they were one. The paper analyzes and compares eleven EU-co-funded research projects that address the integration of government e-services along different dimensions, such as integration approaches developed, connectedness between projects, participation of partners from the SEE region, and project budgets.
