This lecture describes various fields of investigation, in which I collaborated in the Laboratory for Spectroscopy of Materials, above all thin films for counter electrodes (CeVO4, V2O5, V/Ti-oksid,...), sol-gel functionalised ionic liquids and their application in electrochromic cells, preparation of various organic-inorganic hybrids (PDMS) and polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes.

COBISS.SI-ID: 3911450Development of sol-gel functionalised ionic liquids brought new knowledge about these compounds, and revealed the possibility of their application in electrochromic and Graetzel cells. Research of these completely new compounds enabled our cooperation in EU project of VII. FW programme INNOSHADE (Innovative Switchable Shading Appliances based on Nanomaterials and Hybrid Electrochromic Device Configurations), which started on September 1, 2008.
