Electrical resistivity of nanocomposite

Specific electrical resistivity of dry thin composite layers has a typical percolation S-shape. It depends on state of dispersion of functional inclusions and on other preparation parameters. The state of dispersion is possible to modify by different dispersing additives and by different mixing methods. Degree of polymerization of the polymer matrix has a negligible effect on the state of particle dispersion, but it changes appreciably the resistivity dependence on concentration of functional particles.

The influence of thermal treatment of the sensor layer on the sensitivity of capacitive chemical sensor

Heating of polymerized sensor layer at temperatures well below its degradation temperature causes changes in chemical structure of layer. These changes are directly related to sensitivity of capacitive chemical sensor on some volatile compounds.
