Guidelines to study cysteine cathepsin activity using "labeling ABPs".

In this paper we showed evaluation and biological relevance of activity-based probes for cysteine cathepsins, which were developed within the FP6 CAMP consortium. As a model system we have used synovial fibroblasts stimulated by inflammatory cytokines.

Expression levels of selected cysteine cathepsins and matrix metalloproteases in rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.
