The conference featured lectures held by historians from Austria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Italy, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Germany and Slovenia. The issues of the nature and form of the resistance movement and collaboration during WW II in CE, the Nazi ethnic transformation of South-Eastern and CE during WW II, retribution against war criminals and collaborators after the war and intensity in the implementation of political and socioeconomic changes emerging in CE after the war were discussed at the conference.

On the historical example of Germany and German Armed Forces, the thesis reveals the significance and role of logistics in the military system of defence and represents one of the rare papers in Slovene history which study general world subjects through the application of archived material and a thorough study of foreign literature.
