Cigoj Krstulović presented the national anthem in the widest historical context, taking into consideration the history of the anthem, and the historical reception of Premerl’s “Zdravljica”, defining the elements that led to the decision of accepting this song as a national anthem. It is an applicative result of a primary scientific research and a key contribution to the development and recognition of the Slovenian national and cultural heritage.
