The song has its power: the centennary of of the setting of Slovenian nationa anthem)

In the television emission the author of the script N. Cigoj Krstulović presented the national anthem in the widest historical context, taking into consideration the history of the anthem, and the historical reception of Premerl’s “Zdravljica”, defining the elements that led to the decision of accepting this song as a national anthem. It is an applicative result of a primary scientific research and a key contribution to the development and recognition of the Slovenian national and cultural heritage.

La musica Veneziana nell'Istria settentrionale

The bilingual exhibition (in English and in Italian languages) prepared by M. KOKOLE, A. Bagarič and D. Frelih has in the years 2004 to 2005 toured three Italian towns (Bari, San Vito, Potenza) and was presented in Novigrad (Croatia) and Koper (Slovenia).

Monumenta artis musicae Sloveniae

The member of the Programme group (M. KOKOLE) is a member of international editorial boards for the publication of the opera omnia by the composers G. Pulti and G. Gorzanis in the series of bilingual critical editions. In the function of the Head of the Institute of Musicology, the publisher of the series, M. Kokole is also directly responsible for the quality of the editions. Involved are numerous Slovenian and other scholars and specialists.

SNOJ, Jurij. Die fragmentarisch erhaltenen Choralhandschriften : Probleme ihrer Identifizierung und Beschreibung

The author proposed in his lecture – presented within the section RISM at the congress of the International Musicological Society in Einsiedeln, Switzerland – the basic model for the digital database that would include also fragments of medieval music manuscripts scattered in European libraries. The lecture was a demonstration of a new methodology developed by the author.
