POPOVIĆ P, JARC-VIDMAR M, HAWLINA M. Abnormal fundus autofluorescence in relation to retinal function in patients with retinitis pigmentosa.

The work defines morphological properties of retina and a distinct hiperfluorescent ring a new diagnostic sign of the Retinitis Pigmentosa which linearly correlates with visual field and electrophysiological results. The important finding is that the ring mentioned presents the border between functional and nonfunctional retina.
