COBISS.SI-ID: 22518489Our own original research activities on radiochemotherapy advanced still resectable and unresectable cancers of the head and neck could be grouped according to chemotherapeutics used into the following groups: (1) radiochemotherapy with Mitomycin C and Beomycin; (2) radiochemotherapy with Mitomycin C and Cisplatin; (3) radiochemotherapy of verrucous carcinoma with Vinblastine, Methotrexate and Bleomycin. The common characteristic of all three studies is the way we combined radiotherapy and chemotherapy: drug selection was based on the principles of contemporary radiobiology.
