An individual measure of relative survival.

ISCB conference is the most important conference in our (biostatistical) field, this has been the second time (first in 1996) that Janez Stare was invited speaker at this conference. This invitation came because of the paper that we published in JRSS (C) early this same year.

New developments in relative survival.

ROeS is the Austrian Swiss section of the International Biometric Society, and they organize a conference every second year. A number of experts from different fields is invited, this was thefirst invitation for somebody from Slovenia. The talk was based on our three papers on relative survival.
