Tutoring of postgraduate students

Dr. Rok Romih and Dr. Peter Veranič have been mentor to young scientists to Samo Hudoklin (2006-2009) and Nataša Resnik (2007-) . Samo Hudoklin has been working on his PhD thesis (from January 2007 to March 2008) in the laboratory of Dr. T.T. Sun at the School of Medicine; New York University and Nataša Resnik at univ. of Amsterdam.

Educational activities

All research staff has been engaged as teachers at the Medical faculty and others high scools of the University of Ljubljana. We have published the basic concepts of cell biology in the book which is used as a literature for the students of above mentioned studies.

Chairing over/coordinating international and nationational projects

Prof. Kristijan Jezernik has been the principal investigator of Research program PO-506-381 in the years 2004-08 and of two bilateral research projects between Italy and Republic of Slovenia (2005) and the between Austria and Republic of Slovenia (2008-09). Dr. Rok Romih has been the principal investigator of two scientific research projects between the Republic of Slovenia and the United States of America (2003-07). The research activities has been published in J. cell biol., 2005.
