Patent is protecting the intellectual property on the field of die-sinking electrical discharge machining (EDM). Protected is the method/algorithm incorporated in a machine controller that enables a selection of optimal rough machining parameters when the machining surface varies during the machining and thus vary also the optimal parameters.
