COBISS.SI-ID: 547543051. First step is to capture DICOM data with CT scan of patient scull. On that basis 3d scull reconstruction in STL format was made. Missing skull implant was modelled according to STL skull data with help of several reverse engineering procedures. Rapid prototyping models were used for shape authentication. 2. A second cranioplastic project was direct production of crinoplastic implant from Ti6Al4V alloy. That was the first such intervention in Slovenia and the second in Europe. In Slovenia we were the first to use device with laser beam for implant making.
