Presented are the results of a research study of the correlation between the characteristics of fixated pigment prints on textile substrate and the dependence of UV-curing conditions (number of curing passes, one or double-sided curing, curing power, etc.). Printing pastes were applied using a flat-screen printing technique onto the cotton fabric, then dried and exposed to UV-radiation under a mercury vapour lamp (200 W/cm2).
F.02 Acquisition of new scientific knowledge
COBISS.SI-ID: 9450518The organisation of World Conference AUTEX 2005. Effects of the conference are manifested in better links between slovene and foreign partners, participants of the conference. Conference AUTEX 2005 is documented in the book of proceedings with added CD, in COBISS and in national journal Tekstilec.
B.01 Organiser of a scientific meeting
COBISS.SI-ID: 54968065The European Polysaccharide Network Of Excellence called EPNOE »NOE 500375-2 Polysaccharides-EPNOE« is a research and education network connecting 16 European laboratories from 9 countries focusing on polysaccharide science. In the EPNOE network is the leader of Slovenian partner Karin Stana KLEINSCHEK, the vice president for research and as such coordinates all the EPNOE activities connected to the research.
D.01 Chairing over/coordinating (international and national) projects
The overall objective of the project is to increase the knowledge and research level of the programme-group members on the creation of tailored and/or smart fibre forming polymers and materials that would be able to control the release of various active compounds or to create new tailored fibre surface properties for different end-applications in the area of technical textiles, such as medical, therapeutic, hygienic and protective textiles.
D.01 Chairing over/coordinating (international and national) projects
In this paper the European project ADOPBIO, which offers an alternative solution for textile wastewater treatment, is presented. The objective of ADOPBIO project is to develop a solution for treatment and recycling of textile finishing wastewater. Textile wastewater used in the study was obtained from two companies: TSP and Blondel.
