Corrosion protection of sensitive NdFeB powders as a basis for production of bonded magnets was achieved with a alumina coating on nanoscale. The technology was developed in the laboratory and transfered to a pilot production. Corrosion resestivity was increased several times, magnetic properties were not influenced by the coating.
