COBISS.SI-ID: 6707226We organized an international conference entitled "Advances in noncanonical nucleic acids: ANNA 2019". The heart of the conference program comprised of the new scientific results on non-canonical DNA and RNA structures. Lectures and poster presentations emphasized the use of modified RNA and the new methods dedicated to utilizing nucleic acids for therapeutic purposes. In addition, the presentations were focused on the new knowledge in the field of folding and structural properties of guanine-rich nucleic acids in biological systems as well as in cell-mimicking environments.
