1.
On the quest for deterministic approach to plasma synthesis and conversion of nanowires

Invited lecture at the conference ISCP24 (24th International Symposium on Plasma Chemistry), where the current results on development of generalized theoretical model for plasma synthesis and conversion of 1D nanostructures were presented. The development of such model would lead to easier identification of experimental results as well as to finding key radicals in complex plasma systems and uncovering their role in interaction with matter.

In-situ TEM synthesis of NPs with ionic liquids

Invited lecture at the conference, where the first results of in-situ observations for gold nanoparticle synthesis in TEM cell were obtained. The process starts after the ionic liquid is generated.

Manipulation of a single crystal nanowire on an atomic level

For the presentation of the first in-situ conversion results of metal oxide nanowires into sulphite, the young researcher Martin Košiček won a gold prize of ECS for Young scientists on basic science and applications of dielectrics at the 236th ECS Fall Meeting in Atlanta.
