Identification of the coupling functions between the process and the degradation dynamics by means of the variational Bayesian inference

The paper presents a method for on-line estimation of the hidden degradation model from measurements available in the system. The resulting model is used to run Monte Carlo scenarios of possible evolution of the degradation based on which the distribution of the remaining useful life is evaluated.

Prognostics and health management of solid oxide fuel cell systems: challenges, accomplishments and trends

In this plenary talk the recent accomplishments in the domain of health monitoring of solid oxide fuel cells is presented.

Probailistic deconvolution of the solid oxide fuel cell impedance spectra

The state of-the-art approaches to the modelling of the impedance characteristic relate on point estimates. However, disturbances, nonstationarity during the measurement session as well as modelling errors cause uncertainties into the model parameters. This was the first result showing how do the probability distributions of the model parameters look like and how do they change due to degradation.
