With multiple timelines, maps and other illustrative material, the importance and contributions of Czech violinists was highlighted. In the role of teachers, orchestra members and military music directors, they significantly shaped the musical life of several cities in the Slovene and Croatian lands.

Previously unpublished data about life of the German composer Oskar Rieding was presented in the preface to the critical edition of the »Concerto in B minor, op. 35« for the first time. The emphasis was on his musical work in Celje, where he composed most of his world-famous compositions.
