A THz receiver with novel features and functionality

The paper presents a novel front end of the THz receiver based on antenna coupled micro- bolometer. The method of dynamic micro- bolometer sensitivity adjustment by bias current adaptation in way not compromising the receiver lifetime. This receiver is also used in the proposed project.

Integrated sensor system for signal conditioning, digitization and interfacing for terahertz bolometric camera

The paper rewarded with Best Paper Award at the conference Sensordevices 2019, presents a design of a novel front end THz receiver. Majority of the functions are incorporated in the integrated circuit ASIC with a new bipolar transistor structure and a new efficient A/D converter.
