Cholesterol enriched archaeosomes as a molecular system for studying interactions of cholesterol-dependent cytolysins with membranes

We used lipids from archaea and prepared liposomes, which were also enriched by lipid cholesterol. In this way we were able to use them for interaction studies of cholesterol-dependent cytolysins.

Biological Nanopores: Engineering on Demand

We described different ways on how to change properties of biological nanopores that have potential in sensing of relevant biological molecules.

Surface plasmon resonance for measuring interactions of proteins with lipids and lipid membranes

We have described practical aspects of measuring protein interactions with lipids and lipid membranes using surface plasmon resonance. This method was used in our research of new proteins from which pores were prepared.
