Magnetic nanostructures with added functionalities for future magnetic and medical applications

In the invited lecture, we mainly presented the electrochemical application of various metals and magnetic materials, as well as the correlation between application, morphology, crystal structure, and final magnetic and other magnetism-related properties, which further influences also the properties of the latter nanostructures.

Electrodeposition and electro-catalytic properties of Ni based nanomaterials for formaldehyde detection in alkaline media

In the lecture we summarized the results of application of Ni Nanoparticles and their oxidation in order to produce an active redox paraffin NiOOH, which expresses sensitivity to formaldehyde.

A novel electrochemical sensor based on modified Ni electrodes for formaldehyde detection in alkaline media

In the lecture we report on the determination of the specific electrochemical surface area of various Ni electrodes, their treatment in the basic solutions, and about the the method for determining the detection limit for acrylamide on different Ni alectodes.
