Thermal transport simulation in healthy and arthritic fingers

On a workshop about hyperthermal medicine we informed colleagues about our study of joint inflammation. We presented temperature distribution in different joint inflammation severities and approaches how to accurately simulate these states.

Detection of inflammation of the joints of the hands from corrected RGB images

In this student research we explored possibility to extract physiological properties from RGB images of healthy and inflamed joints in human hands. Based on the extracted properties the joints were classified to healthy and diseased.

Support environment for digital microscopy of pathological specimens

The main goal of this student project was to inform students of different programs about possible approaches to analyze and store histological images. The secondary goal was to increase their competencies in research, interdisciplinary groups collaboration and translation of ideas to practical solutions.
