1.
A circular cableway with a central entrance and exit

The analysis of the actual capacity of cable cars has shown that it is substantially reduced by the losses during embarking and disembarking of passengers at entry and exit stations. A different solution is made than the existing ones, which reduces capacity losses due to embarking problems.

Traffic capacity study and calculation of traffic lights for the temporary traffic regulation of the regional road R2-430/0273 and 0873 Maribor (Ptujska) - Hoče

At the busiest road sections in Maribor, urgent maintenance work was planned. An elaborate of the traffic regulation was prepared, which took into account the requirements of the technological process of reconstruction of the carriageway, while ensuring the expected level of service for road traffic. Different methods to solving such problems were used, as they were used in practice so far.

Safety Performance Index (SPI) for Slovenian Motorways and Expressways

Slovenia is one of the countries in Europe, which does not yet have information's on the so-called Traffic Safety Performance Indices on Motorways / Expressways (Safety Performance Index - SPI). The purpose was to systematically approach to the problem and perform calculation for the most important - and at the same time the most effective - traffic safety performance indicators: (i) alcohol and drugs, (ii) speeds, (iii) seat bels usage between drivers and passengers, (iv) use of daytime running lights (DRL) and v) Vehicle safety systems. The results obtained will contribute to increased activities in areas which are important for raising the level of traffic safety on the Motorways / Expressways (especially the optimal management and ITS management). Last but not least, SPI is a very good indicator for evaluating the effects of traffic safety, which represent both national (e.g. Slovenian Agency for Traffic Safety) and European (e.g. ETSC) levels, a very good measure of the traffic safety status by individual (main) influencing factors
